R.I.P. Nathaniel Fisher

Since watching TV is second only to knitting on my list of life's most important things, I had to note the passing of Nate on Six Feet Under. Lots of speculation on Television Without Pity, but I don't think Alan Ball and them are faking us out this time. At least I hope not--Nate has been a Class A jerk all season; from the beginning, actually. No redemption in death--broke up with his pregnant wife from his deathbed. Anyway, for obligatory knitting content, at left is a miniature coffin cover. It's crocheted, but still...

I was seriously shocked by this though. I speculate that they'll bring in back, through spirit, like his dad, to make amends. He's such a big part of the whole show, I can't imagine it without him.

Happy--I definitely agree that Nate will be back in the closing episodes, although I'm not sure about making amends. Seems that when dead characters show up (Nate Sr., Lisa) they're a reflection of the thoughts of the character they're appearing to rather than agents acting on their own. We shall see...(thanks for the comment, by they way!)
