F.O.'s--Not
So, Sam's sweater is a back, two fronts and one complete sleeve. And the Forbes Forest Scarf is long enough to go halfway around his neck. Can I stop now? Please?? Sigh, back to my knitting.

The Sam sweater looks good. Have you tried it on him? I made a sweater for my husband, but it was a top down, raglan one piece. That's a lot of stocking stitch knitting!
Thanks, debra. It hasn't been tried on yet as it's still in pieces (and this is the first time I'll be seaming something this big). The original pattern is Classic Male Cardigan from Sally Melville's Knit Stitch. It's a garter-based slip-stitch so not quite as mind-numbing as straight stockinette; still, I fear that by the time I finish I'll forget who I'm making it for.
